Helpful Guides

Helpful Guides to the Rules can be found below. They provide information about how formal proceedings before the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board are conducted. The Helpful Guides may be especially helpful to anyone who is not familiar with the Board’s hearing process.

If you plan to participate in Board proceedings, it is still important to refer to the Rules of Procedure, also found on the Board’s website. The Rules of Procedure contain detailed guidance to parties, including how to commence or participate in a proceeding, how hearings are conducted, and the presentation of evidence in a proceeding. The Rules of Procedure also contain forms to be used in proceedings, and the Board’s website contains convenient form templates.

Please contact the Board if you have any questions about the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board and its regulatory process. Contact information is available on this website.
